The Best Beyond Comparison

Manufactured by Sukhoi and Acquired by Aeroflot

«Rossiiskaya Gazeta» (Russian Gazette), Pavel Palchikov, issue 282 (3951), December 15, 2005

Recently an event of outstanding importance has occurred in Moscow: CJSC «Sukhoi Civil Aircraft» and OJSC «Aeroflot — Russian Airlines» have announced a firm order for delivery of thirty Russian Regional Jet (RRJ) aircraft. Under the Contract Aeroflot orders thirty RRJ95 in basic configuration. The total deal is valued at approximately 820 mln USD at list prices.

Participated in the RRJ Program are over 20 worldwide leading companies such as Thales, Messier Dowty, Honeywell, Hamilton Sundstrand and others. The RRJs will be powered by SaM146 engines manufactured by joint venture of Snecma, France and NPO Saturn, Russia to comply the utmost standards for aviation noise and emission levels.

Since the very first phases of this program implementation we have received an invaluable comprehensive assistance from Boeing based on our long-term agreement on the mutual cooperation, Viktor Subbotin, Director General of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft points out.

Progresstech, Ltd., Russian engineering service company is also greatly involved in the works within the RRJ Program. The Progresstech engagement in this program is specified by a trilateral agreement signed between Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Boeing Company and Progresstech in August of 2005.

RRJ today, this is the first Russian aircraft that is being developed not in the Soviet Union but just in Russia. Applied for its creation are the most advanced, state-of-the-art technologies that are nowadays approved in the civil aircraft manufacturing industry and were earlier matched only for such aviation industry giants as Boeing in the US and Airbus in the EU.

The contract signed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Aeroflot — Russian Airlines for 30 RRJs delivery is a step of top priority for further promotion of this aircraft model on the worldwide markets.

Prof. Kulchitsky, CEO & President of Progresstech Group of Companies believes that the construction and implementation of new aircraft will give Russia wide opportunities to create a powerful engineering services industry and Aeroflot will be the engine to pull our national aircraft industry out of a temporary stagnation.

In developing separate buildings and facilities the designers have met challenges to select appropriate equipment and obtain the customer’s approval thereof, have studied planning options and details of equipment location within the building and its connection to engineering system networks. Such considerable project complying with national and worldwide norms and standards could be executed owning to the effective team working by the Customer – Vnukovo Invest Company, the Operator – Vnukovo Fuel Supply Company and several specialized design entities.

Working at every project we try to keep up to date. The company name itself calls for this. ProgressTech, this is always progressive solutions and technologies.
Air Fleet, Sergey Bystrov (May, 2007)
Progresstech is an integrating structure being a part of aviation construction and civil aviation. We ensure the interests of both the civil aviation and aviation construction industry. And being a patriot of both industries I’d like to tell that we need the best civil aviation in Russia and the best civil aviation will be when the best air carrier appears, while the best air carrier will appear when it gets the best airplanes.
Profile Magazine, Andrey Annenkov (February, 2007)
Our democracy shall be guarded by an enlightened monarchy. We have no alternative here. Without enlightened monarchy our democracy is degenerating at once into a bare vertical line of authority. However surprising, of course, but an enlightened monarchy (not literally) shall exist here to guarantee the compliance with laws and the constitution of a jural state. And if now the very top authority levels should not support the high-tech export, then believe me, I just don’t know what could happen to my business.
FEDERAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMY Magazine ( November – December, 2006)

The Progresstech Group of Companies President has staked on development of the Russian market of intellectual property services
www.politcom.ru (May 26, 2006)
The major risk for our company is political. If the federal power follows such a policy that gains less and less confidence, then who would wish to award us with long-term intellectual property development projects?
«Energy. Industry. Regions» Magazine (May, 2006)
Engineering services in the aircraft industry and airport technologies are the main line of activity of Progresstech. This Russian company is part of Progresstech Group, which marks its 15th year anniversary this year.

The Russians have extended their presence in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 annual ranking. The Russian companies, Aplana Software, Progresstech and RosBusinessConsulting have got listed in the 2005 ranking as published last week. However the Russian experts think that the Russian companies'a share in the ranking shall be much larger.
Pavel Palchikov, «Rossiiskaya Gazeta» (Russian Gazette) (November 23, 2005)
«Rossiiskaya Gazeta» published two critical articles entitled «Brain Drain Remedy» on 30 June, 2004 and «Intellectual Product from Russia» on 3 August, 2005. They put emphasis on an urgent necessity to actively proceed to the creation of engineering service centers since this new trend opens for the Russian economy a real opportunity to accelerate its development. So we have asked some public officers, noted scientists and businessmen to share their opinions on expediency for Russia to participate in the worldwide division of labor as well as on means and ways to improve the national education quality.

Vladimir Shytov, «Civil Aviation» (September, 2005)
The future of the Russian economy, this is the inexhaustible topic generating a great number of disputes and comments. However it is very seldom that theoretical projects are realized into concrete works. Most of such projects remain non-realized. With rare exception... Among these exceptions are really the Progresstech Group of Companies activities:

Pavel Palchikov, «Rossiiskaya Gazeta» (Russian Gazette) (June 30, 2004)
The today?s integration of Russia into the international division of labor system is going on somewhat insipidly, slowly and in many respects spontaneously, and taking into consideration at that, Russia has not yet exhausted its scientific & technological potential, heavy stocks of relatively low-cost raw materials and energy resources, high manpower resources, especially in the exact sciences and engineering and technological area…
