 Project Description

Project on expansion and reconstruction of Ostafyevo Airport comprised:

  • construction of passenger terminal;
  • construction of hangar complex to accommodate four airplanes and service rooms;
  • construction of building to accommodate the engineering and technical services;
  • extension of runway by 450 m;
  • reconstruction of taxiways, stands and apron, total area of 62,500 ì2;
  • construction of boiler house;
  • construction of water sewage system and stormwater drainage;
  • construction of freight depot and aircraft maintenance depot;
  • construction of container-type fuelling stations;
  • construction of communication center;
  • construction of aircraft washing and de-icing treatment pad;
  • installation of ILS , Cat. I lighting equipment and weather equipment on the runway;
  • construction of departure control center with glide path beacon;
  • construction of culverts (bypass of the Lyubocha River bed under runway) at depth of 12 m, length of 198 m and cross-section of 2.5 x 2 m;
  • construction of power supply and exterior lighting systems and transformer substations;
  • construction of water supply, sewage and heat-supply systems;
  • construction of approach, in-site and patrol roads.

Progresstech carried out the works on design, construction, repair and certification with the framework of the Domodedovo Airport reconstruction and development programs aimed at the airport compliance with the increasing international and domestic traffic.
The project on rehabilitation and expansion of Tunoshna Airport.
Analysis of condition and prospects of integrated airport development in Moscow Aviation System, 2002. Assessment of impact of state and experimental aviation airdromes of Moscow air zone on environment, transport infrastructure and socio-economic development of adjacent territories, 2003
The project was aimed at managing all-freight services considering the requirements of the Federal customs complex.
The Progresstech specialists have developed and introduced a new technology of special protection units – explosive protective chambers ÂÇÊ-01 capable to take a blast load of 800 g TNT equivalent.
The compulsory certification is to be performed by the airport certification agency and appropriate regional certification bodies duly accredited by the Russian Federation air transport certification system. Widely used for certification are relevant certification centers and testing laboratories.
The increase of the performance period of airfield and roadway pavements depends on such factors as proper operation, adequate maintenance and timely running repair to be performed in accordance with the relevant norms and standards. The construction & repair units of JSC Progresstech, Ltd. and Progresstech-Center perform all kinds of works for airfield and roadway pavement repair using advanced technologies and knowhows, state-of-the-art equipment and materials.
