Project Description
The Naryan-Mar Airport reconstruction project provided for the reconditioning repair of the runway pavement, including:
- Removal of PAG slabs
- Grade leveling after slabs removal
- Construction of stabilized base
- Installation of new PAG slabs
- Filling of slab pavement joints with sand-and- cement mix and sealant.
- Repair of damaged slab spots

JSC Progresstech, Ltd. performed the following reconstruction works at Naryan-Mar Airport under the state contract awarded by the Russian Ministry of Transport as a result of the bid for general contractor selection:
- Construction management and supervision
- Execution of construction works
- Sealing of joints
- Quality control of the executed works
- Procurement of construction and repair materials
The compulsory certification is to be performed by the airport certification agency and appropriate regional certification bodies duly accredited by the Russian Federation air transport certification system. Widely used for certification are relevant certification centers and testing laboratories.
