In the context of programs on reconstruction and expansion of Mineralnye Vody Airport, JSC Progresstech has fulfilled its commitments under the following contracts:
- Development of feasibility study for construction of runway RWY 2, 1995
- Assessment of technical condition and bearing capacity of airfield pavements, 1998
- Series of works on airfield pavement repair, 1998 to 1999
- Excursion monitoring of airfield pavement joints to locate spots for additional movement joints, 1999
- Reconstruction of the runway water drainage network at Mineralnye Vody Airport, 2000
- Procurement of repair materials (Progresstech-AG airdrome sealant, dry concrete mix), 1998 to 2000
Provided Services
Progresstech carried out the works on design and repair of airfield pavements at Mineralnye Vody Airport:
- Development of feasibility study for RWY-2 construction project
- Obtaining the approval of the feasibility study by relevant federal authorities
- Excursion monitoring of pavements joints
- Assessment of technical condition and bearing capacity of airfield pavements
- Works on airfield pavement repair
- Procurement of repair materials
The compulsory certification is to be performed by the airport certification agency and appropriate regional certification bodies duly accredited by the Russian Federation air transport certification system. Widely used for certification are relevant certification centers and testing laboratories.
The increase of the performance period of airfield and roadway pavements depends on such factors as proper operation, adequate maintenance and timely running repair to be performed in accordance with the relevant norms and standards. The construction & repair units of JSC Progresstech, Ltd. and Progresstech-Center perform all kinds of works for airfield and roadway pavement repair using advanced technologies and knowhows, state-of-the-art equipment and materials.
