On March 31, the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner took off for the first time from the company facility in Charleston (South Carolina, US). The third Dreamliner model completed successfully its first test flight which lasted just four hours and forty eight minutes.
Over 400 Progresstech engineers were engaged by the Moscow Boeing Design Center in the development program of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner wide-body passenger airliner family. For over 13 years since 2004 года Progresstech has rendered the engineering consulting services on multiple key 787 Dreamliner elements. The first flight of the Boeing 787-10 is a result of the successful efforts of all those who have been involved in the airliner development. And this is also the success of all Progresstech employees participating in the program, and the success of the company itself.
The Boeing 787-10 having the 68.27 m length is the longest model in the 787 family. In the near future the airliner seating 330 passengers should expand the nonstop route network opened by Boeing 787-8 and 787-9.
