The Progresstech and Altair business partners participating in the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2017 have presented at the their joint stand the Altair software products and Progresstech engineering solutions based on them for the aerospace industry. The MAKS 2017 was traditionally held at the airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute in Zhukovsky, the Moscow region town accommodating the major aviation research and test centers. 

During six days of the Salon, from July 18 to July 23, more than 450 thousand participants and guests visited the event. Multiple specialists have seen the Altair and Progresstech exposition obtaining detailed information on the Altair software complexes and their application.

The event business program included various conferences, roundtables, briefings, workshops and presentations discussed during which were the issues on the mainstream of the aerospace sector, engineering and process innovations. The Progresstech delegation also took part in the Salon business program events. So, Dmitry Buzlaev, Altair project manager participated in the briefing “Application of composite materials in aircraft manufacturing” organized by the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company.

During the Aviation Salon the Altair and Progresstech team had a number of business meetings with managers of the companies interested in purchasing the Altair software complexes or requesting the engineering solutions based on such products and established new contacts with aerospace industry enterprises.
