In early 2009 the construction of a new S7 Airlines Training Center has been completed in the Moscow Region in the vicinity of Domodedovo International Airport.

S7 Training Center has been built by the project developed by Progresstech, Ltd. Also in the course of construction the Progresstech specialists have carried out the field supervision by monitoring the quality of construction works and checking for a strict compliance with the project requirements.

It is noteworthy, this integrated Training Center is the first specially-constructed facility in Russia and was not an existing building adapted to install simulators just as in other cases. The training building has been designed and constructed in compliance with the state-of-the-art worldwide requirements as regarding both the users of services and Thales simulator producer.

The four-level training center building comprises training classes to learn theory, administration premises and a simulator hall with a total area of 4,000 sqm. Installed in the simulator hall shall be full flight (FFS) simulators and procedure simulators intended to train crews for flight skills and standard operating procedures.

The new S7 Training Center is designed to install four FFS. Mounted in April of 2009 was the first full flight simulator for Airbus 320. The equipment has received the highest level of the flight simulator certification that allows to perform all kinds of crew training. The first in Russia full flight simulators for Boeing 737 are intended to be installed in June of 2009.
