
During her tour Hillary Clinton has been told about the Boeing Russia programs and got a look at the Design Center where today about 1,200 engineers employed by the leading Russian design offices and engineering service firms work under the contracts the Boeing Company has signed with Russian companies.
Progresstech has cooperated with Boeing Company in airplane development projects since 1999. Progresstech engineers has been involved in programs on design and improvement of practically all the models of Boeing commercial airplanes. At present nearly 700 Progresstech engineers participate in Boeing projects.
In her speech U.S. Secretary of State highly appreciated the Russian engineers’ contribution in development of Boeing 787 Dreamliner. “The engineers who work here ... not only to help drive technological progress, but they promote shared prosperity for each of our nations, and indeed for the world as a whole,” Clinton said.
