Gulfstream Aerospace, U.S. aircraft manufacturer, as a developer and integrator of business jets continues successfully implementing the program for developing a new ultra-long-range business Gulfstream G650: under its own power, the new flagship business jet was rolled out of the Gulfstream main manufacturing facility in Savannah, GA on September 29, 2009 and performed its first flght on November 25, 2009. It was a real fun for all participants of the program.

Being among the program participants Progresstech has collaborated with Spirit AeroSystems on designing G650 jet wing since 2008. Progresstech engineers has rendered engineering consulting support in strength analysis and structural design.

Pres Henne, Senior Vice President, Programs, Engineering and Test, Gulfstream characterised the first flight by stating: "Systems were fully operational. The aircraft achieved an altitude of 6,600 feet and a speed of 170 knots. Flight controls and characteristics performed as expected. We consider this flight a success and look forward to pursuing our full flight-test plan."
