The Progresstech design engineers have developed a reconstruction project for Varandey Airport located on the Barents Seashore in the Nenetz Autonomous District. The project customer is NK Lukoil Company.

The project includes the reconstruction of the 1800 m long runway and installation of new radio aids and landing equipment. Also the project provides for the replacement of the runway lighting equipment and construction of taxiways, apron and stands for aircraft and helicopters.
