Progresstech participated in the First Moscow International Forum “Special Economic Zones – Objectives, Possibilities, Prospects” and the Presentation of the Russian Federation Investment Fund that were held on May 16-17, 2006 in the World Trade Center.
The events are organized by the Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and Restec Exhibition Company.
Attending the plenary session were RF CCI president E.Primakov, Deputy Prime-Minister A.Zhukov, Minister for Economic Development and Trade G.Gref, Minister of Education and Science A.Fursenko, Head of the Federal Agency for the Management of Special Economic Zones Yu.Zhdanov, deputies of the State Duma and the Federation Council, officials of ministries and departments, regional governors.
Prior to plenary session the Forum participants and guests visited the exhibition.
At the Progresstech booth the forum participants could get informed about the company’s activities in the aircraft construction industry and airport technologies. Progresstech will be given a resident status in a special economic technical-commissioning zone in Dubna near Moscow and intends to create up to fifteen hundred jobs establishing an engineering center to design new generation aircraft in the interests of the worldwide major aircraft manufacturers and suppliers of aircraft component parts and units.
