On June 1 Ekaterina N. Vasilieva took up the position of Director General at Progresstech, Ltd. On such occasion there was a formal presentation for the company’s officers and its business partners at the Le Royal Meridien National Hotel banquet hall in Moscow.
A decision on Ekaterina Vasilieva’s appointment as Director General was made by the Progresstech Group of Companies Governing Board. Emphasizing in his speech that in 2003 the corporate executives suggested to train young leaders for the company, Prof. Vladimir Kulchitsky, President and CEO said: “We have chosen Ekaterina Vasilieva considering her professional qualities and experience of work in the company. And I believe she will suññessfully achieve all the tasks to be entrusted to her.”
In her speech Ekaterina Vasilieva stated that she is going to manage all aspects of the company’s activities, to continue to strengthen the existing business relations with our partners and to establish and develop new ones.
Ekaterina Vasilieva was born in November of 1976 in Moscow. She graduated from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University in 1999 and received her Master’s degree at MBA Class, Rice University (Houston, TX) in 2006. Ekaterina Vasilieva joined Progresstech in 1993 as an interpreter and afterwards took various positions in the company administration. Since 2001 she is the Director of International Cooperation and has been actively involved in implementation of numerous projects and programs in cooperation with other companies such as Boeing, Galaxy Scientific Corporation (US FAA program) and Continental Airlines.
