On November 25, 2009 Gulfstream G650, a newest business jet performed its first flight. It was a real fun for every and all participants of this jet development program. Progresstech being among the program participants has cooperated with Spirit AeroSystems on G650 jet wing design since 2008.
Progresstech is included in its fifth year in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA Ranking. The company is recorgnized to be the 219th in the 2009 annual Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking with a growth rate of 776 %.
Ukr-Progresstech having obtained the Ukrainian license for design works signed a contract on November 6, 2009 with UkrAeroProject State Project Technological Research Institute of Civil Aviation to develop the project documentation for the project “Sector of Business Aviation and Cargo Operations Handling Sector at Borispol Airport”. Under this project construction program Ukr-Progresstech specialists are involved in development of the hangar shelter design for Global Express jets.
On October 28 and 29, 2009 the Spirit AeroSystems LLC representative delegation headed by David Walker, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer & Business Development visited our corporate engineering offices at Tushinskaya Street and Gazetny Pereulok. The delegation also comprised Robert Waner, Advisor to Spirit AeroSystems President and Alexander Ermonsky, Director, Global Engineering Resources, Spirit AeroSystems.
