Airport Certification and Consulting Services to Air Carriers

Airport Certification

The Progresstech Airport Certification Center accredited in the Russian Civil Aviation Certification System performs review and expert appraisal of the documents related to the operational activities of airports during the compulsory certification in accordance with the RF Civil Aviation Certification System (CACS) and issues certificates of compliance of civil aviation facilities with regulations of the Russian Ministry of Transport. Also the Certification Center manages and performs inspection controls of the airport operational activities between certification time.

Review and expert appraisal of airport documents in support to the following airport operational activities during civil aviation certification as per RF CACS requirements:

• airfield support;
• flight navigation support;
• passengers, baggage, mail and cargo handling of domestic and international flights;
• civil aviation airfields and heliports (physical characteristics, daylight marking of pavements and obstacles).

Consulting Services to Air Carriers

The Progresstech experts have rendered the consulting services since 2001 on managing and performing the US Continental Airlines aircraft operations along cross-polar routes over the Russian territory and on operating charter flights of foreign air carriers in/from Russia and CIS countries, the consulting services are rendered on the following issues:

• coordination with the Russian Civil Aviation Authorities on the issues in the interest of air carriers;
• development of air routes, preparation of Forms R and obtaining of their approval, obtaining of permits to overfly the Russian Federation airspace by regular and charter flights of foreign air carriers;
• air navigation information support.
