Research studies and engineering for airport technologies form a basis of development of new technical and engineering solutions, design and construction.
Theoretical and experimental studies of interaction between the aircraft landing gears and airfield pavements:
- development of mathematical models;
- large-scale field testing;
- monitoring investigations;
- development and implementation of new technologies, computation procedures and research techniques.
Assessment of Airfield Pavement Technical Condition:
The Airdrome Testing Laboratory accredited in various certification systems of Russian air transport offers services on:
- evaluation of pavement bearing strength (PCN values are computed by a combined theoretical-and-experimental procedure) and operational condition;
- assessment of the airfield pavement roughness:
- roughness measurement and operation safety assessment;
- elaboration of corrective measures to eliminate surface irregularities .
